Crikey, no updates for 3 months :-/. Sorry about that! I should be severely beaten really! Owww, OK OK!!

Well the live band who will play Black and White live onstage has been born, its male, it weighs in at around 80 stone and is named Lee Gerald Rob Sean Chris, its extremely good looking and has the musical talent that small inexperienced picts would die for (you know who you are, pesky picts!!)

We had a rehearsal back in Sept, which went blisteringly well and we have another in a few days time. By then we should have the whole album in the bag and ready to bake! Gas mark prog, turn it all the way to 12 (officialy now 2 louder!). Yes kids! Thats the WHOLE album in 2 rehearsals.... something you picts can only dream of with your silly accents and pointy shoes!

Studio wise things are busier than ever and as a result I've had to give up sleeping! I'm still in tracking mode with Sean Filkins and his wonderous War and Peace album; that should wrap up in the spring, I am soon to be mixing the debut album by Anabasis, a new US prog band who were so impressed with Black and White they cancelled Trevor Horn and rang me instead! How nice of them. Also I have just formed a new songwriting duo with a guitarist by the name of Rich Cahill. He is an amazing guitarist who has played for many bands over his career and has played a few music showcases demonstrating Peavey gear (the Van Halen 5150 stuff, and playing Eddie Van Halen stuff no less!!) although he doesn't endorse Peavey anymore as they wouldn't pay his large biscuit rider demands. Anyway, he's been galloping down to Dockside studio and so far we have written some pretty proggy stuff..... which is good in my opinion.

As I'm on a gig hiatus myself at the moment I have taken the opportunity to go and watch a few bands this summer/autumn. It Bites twice, Porcupine Tree (playnig The Incident all the way thru), Dream Theater twice (playing a 'greatest hits' set and then playing new stuff) and finally prog botherers Mitchell and Godfrey doing a stripped down comedy/prog duo thing, which was very entertaining.

Wow, this is turning into quite a post, huh?

This website will be undergoing a revamp soon with lots of new cool stuff and an end of year clearout in the store!

and so with summer, Hallowe'en and Guy Fawkes Night all gone for this year we raise our glasses to Christmas (hic..) and New Year (hic, hic...) and 2010 will no doubt be a better year than 2009, keep watching!

P.S. make sure you buy the next edition of Classic Rock Presents Prog magazine, there be a little surprise in there, there be!

Byeeeeeee

Lee
